This blog shares my **on-campus interview experience with LTIMindTree (LTM)** for role of a Graduate Engineer Trainee. The process included an Online Assessment, an AI interview round, followed by Technical and HR interviews.

LTIMindTree (LTM) On-Campus Interview Experience

Online Assessment (OA)

The first round was an Online Assessment conducted as part of the campus recruitment process.

The test mainly focused on:

  • Aptitude
  • Logical reasoning
  • Basic programming concepts
Clearing this round moved candidates to the next stage of the process.

AI Interview Round

After the OA, the next round was an AI-based interview.

In this round:

  • Questions appeared on the screen
  • Candidates had to record their answers using the webcam
  • The system analyzed communication and responses
Questions were mostly based on:
  • Self introduction
  • Basic behavioral questions
  • Communication and confidence

Technical Interview

After around 1 month, my Technical Interview was scheduled.

The interview mainly focused on the following areas:

1. Introduction

I started with a brief introduction about my background, skills, and interests in technology.

2. Project Discussion

The interviewer asked questions related to my projects such as:

  • Technologies used
  • My role in the project
  • Challenges faced during development
  • Implementation details

3. Computer Science Fundamentals

Some questions were asked from core subjects including:

  • Operating Systems
  • DBMS
  • Object-Oriented Programming

4. Data Structures

There were DSA questions based on arrays, mainly testing problem-solving ability and understanding of basic algorithms.


HR Interview

After about 15 days, the HR interview was scheduled.

The HR round included questions like:

  • Self introduction
  • How do you resolve conflicts in a team?
  • What are your strengths and weaknesses?
  • How do you handle deadlines and pressure?
This round mainly focused on communication skills, personality, and cultural fit.

Offer and Joining

  • The offer letter was received after about 1 month.
  • The overall process from interview to offer was smooth.

Final Thoughts

The LTIMindTree interview process tests candidates on:

  • Communication skills
  • Problem-solving ability
  • Core computer science knowledge
  • Project understanding
Being clear with fundamentals and explaining your projects confidently can help a lot in clearing the rounds.
